Loki x Reader Ice Monster. One-shot.

You walked through the great hallways of the asgardian palace trying to find your lover. Loki. Ever since this morning no one has seen him. 

Finally you arrived at your destination. Lokis chambers. You gently knocked on the door. You heard some shuffling inside the room. Then you heard a yes. Slowly you pushed opened the doors and peered in. You saw Loki sitting on the floor, books scattered around the floor and furniture thrown all over the room, most of it broken.

"Loki? What happened? What's the matter?" You questioned, rushing over to Loki and kneeling down next to him. You gently stroked hid tear stained cheek. He lifted his head and looked you in the eyes.

"I-I'm a m-monster." He whispered. You barely caught his words.

"W-what?! Monster!? You are no such thing you are the charming prince you have always been." You said desperately trying to comfort him. What had been said to him to make him think like this. It sure wasn't Thor anyway. He had been banished to Midgard by the All-father. He had led Loki, Sif and the warriors three into Jotunheim earlier that day. He wanted revenge for them wrecking his coronation. But his action had great consequences. The jotuns declared war upon Asgard and as punishment of his foolish actions Odin exiled him to earth.

"I-I am, I'm not an asgardian at all, I'm not even of royal asgardian blood. I-I'm actually..." He paused and looked to you, his eyes filling with tears once again. He grabbed your hand and got to his feet, pulling you up with him. "I'll show you." And with that he led you out of the bedroom and through the great castle.

You arrived at the weapons vault moments later. You were utterly confused. You literally had NO idea as to what was happening and what he was doing. He gave you a quick glance before entering the weapons vault. You followed close at his heels.

"Loki I do not understand what is happening, what are you trying to tell me."

"You'll see."

He stopped in front of the casket, an ancient artefact that had been taken from Jotunheim after the war. He turned to face you once again.

"I-I'm not asgardian I am a jotun.."

"Y-you're a.. Loki, what are you talking about? Is this a joke? Because if it is it's not funny!" 

"No I'm not lying, I'm telling the honest truth. Look i...(y/n) do you truly love me?"

Was he actually telling the truth? He couldn't of been. He isn't blue nor does he have red eyes, or ice powers. You finally gave him an answer.

"Yes, yes of course I love you!"

He smiled faintly. But then it faded. He turned around and picked up the casket, then turned to face you once again.

"Please just do not scream." You nodded. He closed his eyes tightly. The casket began to glow a brighter blue. Slowly Loki began to turn an icy cold blue colour. He opened his eyes and gave you a pleading gaze. Then his eyes went a crimson red and his body had completely changed colour. He was a frost giant.

You gasped covering your mouth with your hands. He placed the casket back on its stand. Then he faced you again.

"I am not odin's son, nor am I Thor's brother, I am adopted and my real father is Laufey, the jotun king."

You had a bit of trouble comprehending this first. But you quickly adjusted to it. He was still the same Loki.

"I-i-I understand if you no longer want to be mine." You could tell it hurt him to tell you this. His heart was clearly broken. He was adopted. That must of been why Odin had favoured Thor. Why Thor was the one next for the throne. Your heart also broke at theses thoughts. 

"L-Loki, I don't care who or what you are. You're still the Loki I love. Asgardian or not I love you and that will never change." You moved in closer to him and wrapped your arms around his waist, pulling him into a tight hug. He hugged back, holding you tightly. He nuzzled into your neck tears coming back to his eyes.

"I love you so much (y/n)."

"I love you too Loki, and I want you to know that I will always be there for you." You pulled away from him and looked him directly in the eyes. "But don't ever keep secrets like this from me again!" You giggled. Loki wiped away his tears and giggled with you.

"You're right (y/n) I shouldn't of kept this from you, I should of told you as soon as I found out, I'm sorry."

"All is forgiven." You lifted your hand up to his cheek and rubbed his face soothingly. He slowly began to change colour once again. Until he looked like his old self. You had to admit, although he looked cool as a Jotun, you would miss looking into his beautiful blue green eyes. They were one of his best features.

He looked to you with loving eyes then gently brushed his lips against yours. He pulled away all to soon but before he could speak you wrapped your arms around his neck pulling him into a passionate kiss. He gasped at your sudden action. But he didn't mind. He closed his eyes and began to kiss back.
